Orientation Events Information 迎新活動資訊

Participation in SU affiliated societies orientation camp is covered by the SU Group Personal Accident Insurance Policy.
學生會轄下組織迎新營的參與者受學生會團體個人意外保險保障。

Coverage shall commence when the Insured Person arrives at the appointed meeting point for the purpose of participating in the Designated Activities, and cease when he/she leaves the appointed dismissal point upon completion of the Designated Activities or disperses from the group, whichever is earlier.
保障由受保人於活動指定集合地點開始，直至受保人到達活動的解散地點或中途離開（以較早者為準）。

Benefits (per head): 保障金額（每人）：

• Accidental Death 意外死亡: HK$100,000
• Permanent Total or Partial Disablement 永久全面或局部傷殘: Subject to percentage of principal sum (HK$100,000) 按保額（HK$100,000）既定比例計算
• Accidental Medical Expenses 意外醫療開支: HK$5,000
  Exclude Chinese Bonesetters &/or Acupuncturists 不包括中式跌打或針灸師

Only members of the SU who have paid the event participation fee are covered by the policy.
只有已付款報名參與迎新營的學生會會員受上述保險保障。

To submit a claim, please approach the SU Office (Tel: 3580 7430) immediately after the accident happened. Your case will be forwarded to our insurer, ASSICURAZIONI GENERALI S.p.A., for assessment.
如欲申索，請於發生意外後立即聯絡學生會辦公室（電話：3580 7430）。我們會將您的申索申請轉交保險公司（香港忠意保險）處理。

Coverage period: 21 August to 15 September 2024. The coverage listed is for reference only. In case of any discrepencies, the Policy should prevail.
保障期為2024年8月21日至9月15日。此處所列保障僅供參考，如有任何分歧，以保單內容為準。

Members may apply to withdraw your membership. However, the membership fee will be refunded to you (after deduction of handling charges) only if you apply for Members Disaffiliation within 18 days after your membership is activated and you did not use any SU benefits (including participating in any orientation events) before you apply for withdrawal.
會員可申請退出本會，惟只有在會籍生效起計內18天申請退會，而退會前未曾享用本會任何權益者，方可獲發還所繳付之會員費用（須扣除行政費）。

• Participants are reminded to check their schedule to avoid overlapping their enrolled events. No refund will be offered if the participants subsequently found that two or more events happens on the same day.
  本會提醒各位同學應留意自身活動時間表。如同學自行報名參與兩個或以上相同時間舉行的活動，本會不會向同學安排退款。
• If the event is over-subscribed, the organizer may conduct lucky draw to select participants. Participants who are unable to participate in the events are entitled to full refund. They will be informed by the organizer directly. The organiser will submit the refund list to the SU. Affected students may enroll another orientation events, or obtain a refund from SU.
  如活動超額報名，主辦單位或會以抽籤形式決定參加者。未能參與的同學將獲主辦單位個別通知退款。主辦單位會向學生會提交退款名單，受影響同學屆時可選報其他迎新活動，或取得退款。
• If the number of applicants exceed the quota for the event or there is other organizer-induced factor, you will be eliglble for a refund. Otherwise, all fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
  除非因有關活動報名人數超出上限或其他主辦單位促成的因素，否則所有款項均不設退款亦不可轉讓。
• For participants granted discretional refund by the organiser, administrative charges may be deducted from the refundable amount to cover the bank charges and other admin overheads. The organiser may also deduct costs already incurred (e.g. Camp Tee printing fee). SU will generally not intervene the refund decision of the affiliated organisation(s).
  參與者如因其他原因獲主辦單位酌情安排退款，學生會或相關活動的主辦單位可能會收取退款行政費，或從退款金額中扣除已招致的成本（例如：營衣印刷費用）。學生會一般而言不會介入轄下組織的退款決定。

Queries related to refund eligiblity should be directed to the event organiser.
有關退款資格的查詢，請直接聯絡活動主辦單位。

For approved refund: 關於已批准的退款：

• Fees paid by PayMe / AlipayHK 以PayMe / AlipayHK付款：
  Will be returned to the account used for payment. 款項將退回至原本用作付款的賬戶。
• Fees paid by other methods 以其他方式付款：
  SU will arrange bank transfer to a local bank account under the member's name. 學生會將安排銀行轉賬至會員名下的本地個人銀行戶口。
